Hello lovelies!

It was THAT time of the week again - NEW Gel Manicure time!! My favorite time of the week, love love love to get my hands looking and feeling fresh again with a new manicure!

Say HELLO to,

DEEP SEA.

DEEP SEA is a gorgeous dark blue shade, high shine, and has a slight shimmer to it with sparkles of red. It is such a vibrant color, I've never worn a shade like this before - I loveeee!

Seriously, the high shine of these polishes are amazing!

Quick tip to keep your nails & cuticles hydrated:
Coconut Oil.
Coconut Oil is such a fast and easy way to keep your cuticles moisturized and conditioned. Using about 2-3 drops of coconut oil in your hands morning and night will help keep your hands and nails stay looking healthy and shiny!

If you still haven't had a chance to try a Gel Manicure, I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a long wearing manicure! Non stop shine & no chipping for 14 days is pure heaven. Make sure to check out 'The Carriage House Day Spa' on Facebook to stay updated with everything!

My Skincare Essentials for Travel!

Hello my gorgeous readers! Today, we're going over two topics that mean so much to my heart:
Skin care + Travel.

If you follow me on IG, you'll see that my husband & I have been on a Travel Journey (& it has been life changing!!!!!!!!!!!! - a whole different blog post over Travel will be coming soon - woohoo!)

With all this traveling, comes just bringing the essentials for skincare! & if you know me, you know skin care is very important to me! As it should for ALL OF US WOMEN -
Say NO to wrinkles & sunspots and YES to healthy looking skin!

When it comes to travel or even a mini getaway, the less is more. Which is why I've come up with my favorite travel skin care products to share with you guys. I always always always take these along and use on a daily basis while we are out on an adventure!

My nightly skin care routine at home is a completely different routine because I have everything with me in my bathroom, including my Clarisonic. But when it comes to traveling, the last thing you want to do - is pack tons of products. Which is why, I have a small set of skin care products that I use specifically for vacation rather than bringing my full size products!

Let's get started with #1

SUNSCREEN

I've said it a million times, I can't and won't ever live without my sunscreen. As you can see in the photo, I use this religiously. And especially while you're out on vacation - this is KEY! The sun can damage your skin is so many different ways, protect it while you're young! You'll be happy you did 10 years down the road :) A little tip to remind you to put it on every morning: keep it near your toothbrush! You'll be reminded every morning to take a few seconds to put this all over your neck & face!

Makeup Wipes

Makeup wipes are always a must for vacation! It's such a quick and easy way to instantly feel clean at the end of the night. Not only do they remove your makeup, but also all that junk & dirt in the air that get on your face and neck from being outdoors. I usually use my Neutrogena Makeup Wipes (blue package) but last time Target was out of them, so I'm currently using/testing out these Loreal wipes and wow, they really leave my skin feeling super hydrated & not dry at all! I will probably be switching to this one, sorry old favorite.

Face Cleanser (travel size)

For my face cleanser at home I use Chanel - and it's amazing! But for vacations, I take this little beauty with me! A lot of people assume when you use a makeup wipe - you've cleaned your face. But, actually, a makeup wipe is just for that: to remove dirt and makeup, thats all. You still need a cleanser to actually clean your face after you have removed your makeup! Because you'll still have left over dirt on your face, so using a cleanser after will help truly clean your face and keep it looking healthy!

Night Time Cream:

For my serums & night time cream it is and will always be LANCOME! I feel like it has truly brightened my skin & made me skin very youthful. I always make sure to have a couple travel sizes on hand for vacation. A night cream has so many benefits for your skin: it helps with firming, prevent wrinkles, discoloration from acne scars, helps keep your face looking and feeling hydrated... the list can go on! It's essential for your skin! So if you're not using a night cream, please stop reading this post, get in your car and head out to purchase one girlfriend!

Lip balm:

My lips always tend to get & feel extra dry with the weather change on trips, so I always make sure to pack my lip balm!

Blotting Paper:

These are always good to keep in your purse for quick and easy touch ups through your day! Especially, if you're on the go and don't feel like grabbing your makeup bag and search for your powder - grab one of these and bam! Oil is gone.

Small Hand Cream:

Like my lips, my hands can get a bit dry while out & about since I am always washing my hands or applying hand sanitizer. Keep a small hand cream with you to help keep them hydrated!

Where to keep all these lovely products?

Duh, I always use my Mrs. Lumang bag :)

Also, make sure to put all your skin care essentials in a zip log before putting them in your bag. Just in case something bursts open on the plane, or a top isn't on correctly. You don't want to get your cute bag dirty!

& you're all ready to explore! Get out there and visit a place you've never gone to before because if not now, then when?

I hope this post inspires you for your next trip & gives you an idea on what essentials you shouldn't leave behind~

I'll see you in my next blog post!

Bloopers:
