Organizing your makeup brushes & GIVEAWAY!

Hello beauties! :)

Happy Tuesday! A big HELLO to all my new followers on here & on Blogloving!

Today, we shall talk about one of my favorite topics for your makeup brushes - Organization! Organization makes me so happy, my office room is always organized and clean! If it's not, I get anxiety! I just love love love walking into an extra clean room!

I love having my makeup brushes set up right in front of my vanity since I use them on a daily basis, and who says you can't store them in a cute way! Finding cute ways to store your brushes don't have to be expensive - in fact, most of these ideas you may have around your house!

Every once in a while I will change up how I store my brushes to change the feel in my office room
- little changes do wonders!

Here are some inexpensive ideas that will hopefully inspire you!

Acrylic Organzier.

Where can you find this?

I found mine at TjMaxx a couple of months ago for about $5.99 (hello, bargain!) This organizer is actually a pretty big size & fits perfectly into my Ikea desk! Sometimes I keep my brushes that I don't use often in here along with some of my favorite lip glosses I grab daily!
I love love love acrylic organizers! You can use these in a million different ways: office use, bobby pins, hair ties, eyeshadows, lip glosses, lipsticks.. the list can go on but I'm pretty obsessed with them, especially because the prices on these babies are always so affordable!

Wine Glass.
...because what girl doesn't have a wine glass (or 2..or 5) in their house?!?!
Dress up your wine glass with a pearl necklace to add a little style to it, add your makeup brushes, and TADA- the perfect place for your brushes!

Coffee Mug.

4 Reasons why I love coffee mugs....

1.) I love coffee.
2.) They are always so cheap at stores.
3.) They make the best decor.
4.) Organization

You can find the most random coffee mugs at your nearest TjMaxx or Marshalls for less than $6! This is probably the easiest way to store your brushes at home! :)

Not only can you store your makeup brushes in here, but you can store pens/pencils, nailpolishes, samples, hair ties etc.

Sonia Kashuk Brush Holder.

I got this holder at Target for only $5! Can you tell I love bargains?
You can probably find this holder online as well if Target doesn't sell it anymore.
It's the cutest holder. Small but fits a good amount of brushes!

Sigma Brush Holder/Collection.

Now, this isn't an 'inexpensive' way to hold your brushes, BUT this whole kit is such a great investment if you have a love for makeup or looking to invest in some great quality brushes.
This is SO easy to take along with me on my freelance days working with clients! Not only do you get the entire brush collection, but it comes with the brush holder as well. Definitely worth the money! :)

What are some of your favorite ways to store your makeup brushes? I'd loveeee to see & show my followers for ideas!!

BROW 101 with Natasha Marie!

Hello, beautiful readers of mine!

Today, we talk BROWS.
My absolute FAVORITE step during my makeup routine & on my clients!

I can't tell you enough, brows are so important.
They completely frame your whole face, they make you look more youthful, and you instantly look more polished.

When I'm working on my clients & I get to my favorite step (brows!) I end up giving an entire brow tutorial to them! It makes me so excited to work on someone that is 'new' to brows!

The after reaction is PRICELESS, I should work for Anastasia Beverly Hills, because I have sent over almost ALL my clients to Sephora to purchase my favorite brow items! :)

Fun fact:

The thicker your brows are - the younger you look.
The more thin your brows are - the older you look.

There's different ways on making your eyebrows look amazing...
1.) Plucking
2.) Waxing
3.) Threading

Not so good:
4.) Hair removing cream (not the best)

& finally....

5.) Please don't ever shave your brows with a razor.

In my opinion, I prefer waxing. Quick, easy, and gets the job done!
Sometimes with plucking, you can easily OVER pluck - & that isn't a great look for anyone.

I also suggest, going to a cosmetologist to get your brows done if it's your first time! Rather than trying to do them yourself at home and ruining them - TRUST ME. When I was in the 3rd grade (yes 3rd grade..) I decided to experiment on my brows by grabbing a razor and trying to fix them. Horrible idea, but now it's a funny memory.

Everyone has their own brow shape! You can never match your brows to a person, we all have our very own style when it comes to brows. Also, brows shouldn't look EXACTLY the same, treat them like sisters; rather than twin sisters. The more identical they look, the less natural..... the less identical the more natural they look.

MY ONE & ONLY GO TO BROW PRODUCT
Anastasia Beverly Hills, you are my fairy godmother!

This is my exact brow routine I use every single time! Minus the brow shaper; the brow shaper is great for beginners that are trying to find the shape that goes with their face!

The brow powder, clear brow mascara, & eyebrow brush are my holy grail products! I also use the Brow Wiz which is amazingggggggggg!

As I mentioned before, brows are HUGE for your face. Here are some photos for some inspiration on different brow shapes & how they can completely transform your face.

It's very hard for me to trust anyoneeee with my brows, but thankfully, I found a waxing Queen: Rosie from The Carriage House Day Spa, the quality time she spends on brows speaks for itself. She will leave your brows looking like perfection! She's the BEST in the valley, trust me!

If you're new to brows OR you want to start trying to fill in yours brows - don't be afraid! Play around with your brows & see what works better for yours. You may like eyeshadow to fill them in, brow powder, or an eyebrow pencil. Whatever you are more comfortable with will work out great. Practice makes perfect, once you get into a routine, you'll be able to fill in your brows like a PRO!

I hope everyone is having a productive & fun week! I will see you in my next blog post !

Any requests or questions can be sent to my email:

And as always,
Stay fabuloussss!

Why every girl deserves that massage...

Hello, my gorgeous ladies.

When was the last time you took time out of your busy schedule and treated yourself to a massage? I'm sure the majority of you would answer with "never!" "it's been months!" or "I really need to..."

Now is the time to do it. Every girl deserves that pampering feeling, that feeling when you don't have a single worry on your mind, that feeling where you know every single thing really is going to be okay, and that feeling when you know you're worthy enough that deserves it...

That's the feeling I get when I'm getting a massage after a busy week! We all get tied of with work, school, life, family time, best friend time, bf/gf time, house duties etc. that sometimes we forget to take care of OURSELVES & give US a little 'me time' :)

Recently, I got a Hot Stone Add-on with a Swedish Massage with my favorite Massage Therapist in the world, Ashley from The Carriage House Day Spa. She's won Brownsville's Readers Choice Award for Best Massage Therapist. Can you say GET IT GIRL !

Hands down, I felt like I was floating in the clouds...

The one thing I admire for anyone who loves their job: is the way they talk about their clients!

You can learn so much about a person in just a few minutes of hearing how they speak of their clients. While I was getting my massage, I started asking Ashley how her clients are, how her returning clients are doing, how many times do they come etc - she always spoke so highly of all of them! Always the nicest comments & always excited to get them in after knowing they've had busy weeks!

What I love about my sessions with Ashley - You're able to control your session by simply telling Ashely how you want your massage: soft or deep, what parts of your body are sore, what parts of your body are in pain, and what part you would like her to concentrate on!

For me, it was my back. She instantly felt the knots in my back & OMG, I was in heaven. You are so relaxed you jus drift away into a whole different world.

I encourage every girl out there - to treat yourself once a month (or 2..or 3..OH! ) to a massage!

You deserve it, you need it, it's good for you!

You will walk out of your massage session ready to take on the world!

Trust.

Sometimes you need to be alone in order to reflect on life. Take time out to take care of yourself.
You DESERVE it.

Until next blog post,
Stay fabulous, positive, and happy.
