I'm a HUGE fan of large earrings - especially because I like to wear a high sock bun on most days and have my earrings as my statement accessory!! They also have scarves in stock as well - perfect for the Fall season & they have two in stock that are Charro Day's material !

ESSIE Nail Polish picked my photo!

hey lovelies! 

So, something exciting popped up in my Facebook news feed a couple of days ago...

Essie Nail Polish picked my photo and used it in their photo of the day!

Essie polish is my #1 favorite brand of polish! I have a huge collection of their line and it just keeps on growing! Speaking of a huge collection of polishes - I need to pick a day I'm free and make my nail polish rack that my lover boy is going to help me with! & when that day comes I'm going to share it with you girls with photos and details to give you all any ideas and inspiration!

I really love their brush - I love that it's thin! It allows you to really get the sides of your nails and since it's not a huge thick brush my polish always goes on smooth without streaks showing!

Seeing that they picked my photo out of millions that tag them in the manicure photos made my day! It was an exciting feeling & I wanted to share it with you all :)

A 'Smoking Hot' ESSIE Manicure!

 

 Today, I got one 'SMOKING HOT' manicure by my absolute favorite nail polish brand - ESSIE :)

The colors we picked out today for our Fall look was 'Smoking Hot' & the Luxeffect polish in 'Set in Stone' we thought this gorgeous plum color would be perfect for the season! 

& to add a little sparkle to my nails 'Set in Stone' was the perfect combination! 

 Instead of applying the glitter on only my ring finger we decided to spark it up a bit and apply it on all my fingers but only putting the glitter on half of my nail which I loved because it was just a little different! I am so in love with this shade!

Body wrap with some Texas mud!

 

 Yesterday was my lucky day at the Spa! 

I received a complimentary Body Wrap with the house specialty - Texas Mud! This is their #1 seller and for it being the very first time I get a luxurious body wrap like this one - it was one 'cloud 9' experience! Of course I'm going to bring my readers along with me on this ride as I took tons of photos to share with you guys to let you know exactly how it all looks and goes!

I was so relaxed afterwards - not a single worry in the world and my skin felt baby soft !

Getting a body wrap - you have to be completely comfortable being in the NUDE to get the right experience, you'll be with a licensed massage therapists that have tons of experience! 

 This is how comforting the room looks as you walk in...

with soothing music playing while you are on this comfy table you honestly just want to fall asleep and dream away...

 They begin by putting your hair up in this shower cap to prevent the mud to get over your hair and a stylish head wrap as well !

Down here, here is the famous Texas Mud !

 

 

...you can tell by my face expression how excited I was to get pampered for the day! lol

 

 They start you off by exfoliating your entire body with a beauty brush, exfoliating is really important for your face and for your body as well - it removes dead skin cells and keeps your body and face looking younger! Exfoliate every 3-4 days :)

 Once the exfoliating is completely done they moisturize your body and then begins the...MUD!

Which feels so great all over your body..I can't even explain in words how good this feels !

The mud is warmed up but since you are in the nude - you get cold QUICK! lol

After you are covered in the mud they wrap you up like a cocoon - two large plastic wraps and then a warm blanket you will see in the upcoming photos!

 In the above photo you will see how warm I look !

At this moment you are kept in the warm blanket and plastic wrap for a while to really let the mud sink into your body and moisturize! By this time..I was slowly falling asleep because I had never felt so relaxed ! :)

 

While you are still in your wrap they remove the shower cap & head band and start to give you a face/neck/head massage - THIS WAS HEAVEN! I was on cloud 9 during this part - too good for words! You have to experience this for yourself :) It was absolutely soothing! 

 

 You are then asked to rinse off in the shower with some 'Stress Relief' body wash and then you hop back into the comfy bed, put on your cute shower cap and you get moisturized once again!

 My skin was feeling baby soft after my first experience and I think any hard working and busy woman should always treat themselves every once in a while to some pampering! 

I walked out of the soothing room with the biggest smile on my face - the head massage, neck massage, face massage, body scrub..everything and anything during those moments was everything I expected and MORE!

Sigma Beauty Fall Challenge!

Come with me on this ride as I use this blog post as my entry for the Sigma Beauty Fall Challenge inspired by their Fall Look Book!

When I think of Vintage Fall Glamour...

gorgeous dark shades of lip stains, pearls, wavy hair, thick liner and decorative head pieces come to my mind.

 

Today, I used Sigma's Fall Look book to achieve this Fall look that is quite easy ! You can follow along by the step by step tutorial to achieve this look and use any colors of your choice:

Let's get started !

 

 You want to start with a fresh and moisturized face and eyelids.

Here is my eye completely bare: no liner and no mascara.

 

 It is up to you whether you like to apply your mascara or your liquid liner first. Here, I decided to do my mascara first. Pick you favorite mascara and start from the root and slowly move your mascara wand to left and to the right to make sure all the lashes are getting use of the product. The mascara I decided to use today was Lancome Doll Lashes. A few coats is what I normally use, too many coats of mascara can make your lashes look clumpy and 'spider like' so, always slowly make your way to the look you desire.

 

 

Liquid Liner:

I always use liquid online on the top because it lasts a lot longer than pencil liner and it is much easier to apply to your top lid and over all, always looks nice :) Whether you like your liner straight across or the cat wing like I normally do apply it as close to the eyelash line. 

 

 Eyelid Primer:

Primer for your eyeshadows is an extremely important step I never miss.

Primer is a base for your shadows, it helps them go on smoother, last much longer throughout the day, and you will have crease-free lids!  The primer I'm using here is Urban Decay. This is the only primer I ever use. You can find it at Ulta or Sephora :)

 

 Eyshadow:

For the inner part of my lid I decided to go with a light gold and shimmery shade. I am using my shadows today from the New Smashbox palette but ANY light, gold, shimmer shadow will do for this look. I didn't want to do my eyes too harsh because I knew I was going to do a statement lipstick. Use a small shadow brush for this part so it's easy to pat it on your eyelid. I picked up my small shadow brush from Sephora but any small brush you find at Walmart, Target, CVS will do :) 

 

 

 Outer lid shadow:

For the outer part of my lid I decided to go with a plum shade that looks pretty dark in the palette but goes on light which is good, you can always build up this color as dark as your want but I just wanted a small glimpse of color on my eyes!

 Blending brush:

The most IMPORTANT brush you can own, the blending brush helps you blend your shadows together and leaves you with a finished look instead of having harsh lines where you can see where the two colors start and end. Using a blending brush has the windshield effect slowly back and forth till you get your desired look. Any brand of blending brush will work. If you are getting into makeup, I highly recommend investing in a good blending brush because blending gives you that gorgeous finished look!

 

 

 Pencil Liner:

Pick out your favorite pencil liner and line your waterline. to finish up the eyes.

 

 Lips:

I'm loving this Fall shade by MAC called Rebel and I thought it would be the perfect shade for this look. One of the looks on the Sigma Fall Look book inspired me to pick out this color!

 

& you are all done.

I decided to dress up the look a bit and shop in my closet and accessories to give me that 'vintage fall look.' I found this headband with a decorate flower and a pearl in the middle and knew this would go great. I found my pearl earrings, pearl bracelets and a long pearl necklace. I also found the perfect vintage blouse I found at a thrift store years ago, it came in handy today :) I used my curling wand for this look as well to get more of a wavy look like one of the pictures Sigma Beauty has!
